Services Offered:
Planned Parenthood provides medical treatment and reproductive health services to both women and men. Most insurance programs, including Medicaid, are accepted and a sliding fee scale is available for low-income patients. Services include birth control counseling, family planning, emergency contraception, yearly check-ups, including pelvic and breast exams and pap smears, pregnancy testing and counseling, STD/HIV testing and counseling, sports physicals, and screening tests for high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes. Also provided are community education sessions on teen abstinence and safe sex.

St John Hospital either directly provides primary care or partners with others in the community to provide health care to all those in need. This care is provided regardless of ability to pay. No one is turned away if they are in need.

Primary care services usually include the regular services you would receive from a family doctor. They might include preventive care, health education, treatment of long term (chronic) diseases; high blood pressure or diabetes. Also include care for acute (sudden) problems; cold, flu, gastritis, and bronchitis. Most of the listed health centers also provide the following:
